BRIDGEWATER CT.

This feller means business! These guys are really something. NASCAR rejects I think but working just as hard to squeeze the hp's.

The energy babies will forget the old ways. Evil old time oil people! We shall live on french fry juice! Jerks. This machine has been running since the early 30's. An oilier (a man with an oil can) must be around to fill the small wells that lubricate the many hand made moving gears and parts. The new snotty kids all need a good spanking.

These guys were pretty good. They had the sharks swimming.

Oh yes, they drag these babies! And the gentlemen that do so are truly corn feed on the farm. I did not have the required can of Skoal so I could approach these guys but I did spit well enough to take a peek at the engine... wow! 17 HPS OF PURE FURY!!!

Lime Rock Park

Lime Rock Park

There is a little place in Connecticut called Lime Rock Park. It is not your typical raceway but more like a tennis club. Nestled in the Berkshire Mountains it has hosted grand am cars as well as today's NASCAR favorites. You are able to walk the fence just feet from these incredible machines.

Summer's not over

West coast friends stop in

The Gathering of the Vibes

Good Vibes at Seaside

The clan made a stop to a local haunt for some good clean fun. Seaside Park hosts the annual Gathering of the Vibes festival of the arts. Basically it is an all out four day music fest. The clans come from far and wide. Young and old come to beat their feet on the Bridgeport mud the tunes of The Black Crows, Zappa, Taj Mahal, Assembly of dust and dozens more. Rain of shine the fair goes on. We stopped in for a taste. Enjoy the pictures!
