Time to stack the wood!!

This is a pretty rough way to save a buck on heat but it will build character. Cutting and splitting ourselves is the cheapest way to go. It also provides some good work ethics for the little ones. They also have fun.

Good 'till the last drop !!

SQUIRREL !!!!!!

This little bugger got into the trash and pulled out a discarded coffee shot. This was strong coffee that made me rattle. You should have seen this little guy go!!!

Sunrise on the Saugatuck

I recentlty had to pull over on my way to work and take these pictures. So taken by the veiw as I passed by I turned around and caught the moment.

The air became very cold very early this morning and as the sun came up this was the stage for day break.

New York Jets vs Kansas City Chiefs

We were recently gifted mezzanine box seats and club passes from a nice Hungarian family we know. The seats were perfect on the sunny side of the stadium.
It started out as a guys day kinda thing and as three of the players dropped out I filled in the replacements with my wife and two kids.
Mrs. cheese is a sports fan squared and it was my 6 year old daughters first game. My son at 11 was comfortable to hang by himself and soak up the fan atmosphere in the stadium. The Jets fans are loyal and kind. You won't go hungry if you forget to pack before the game.
We had a great time as a family and the memories are still fresh in our minds. These are the good things you keep as a father.
The Jets won by 4 and it was everyone on their feet at the end. The best.
We finished off with a hot pretzel from a street vendors shopping cart and we were on our way back home.

NEW YORK JETS! JETS! JETS!

Jazzed by the green machine

My youngest dons the jersy my son wore at his first game. This being her first the experiance was as treasured for mother and I as I am sure it was for her. She was in awe from the crowd and the team spirit. She wore the jersy to bed and after two days with it on mother had to take it from her. A fan is born.

Here ya go!

Brett Favre does a pitch back after a play. I still can't believe he with green. There are alot of those cheese hats around the stadium that the fans were using for drink trays.

Brett your ass

Brett took em to the mountain. Defense took em home.

Our master of ceremonies

The first rule of Jets Club is no talks about Jets Club. Just my brother in law who is the Jet pooba in the clan. More games bro!

Jetsom

This happy young fellow got his fill of the NYC crowd. What a gas.

The fam at Toon

Many great players have played for the Jets over the years. We all have our favorites. Who is yours.

Jets bar fan

Mrs. Cheese always enjoys a good sports bar. Who does she get that from???

The Jets john

The worst part of any of these events is the public toilet but it't hard to avoid and the young ones must learn.

New York Jets Flight Crew

I feel safer now. My air mask just deployed and something is inflating. It won't be long till touchdown comes.

Flight Crew

Interesting uniforms.

The flight crew

I always loved the green jelly beans, yum.

OUR DOG KENO

OUR DOG KENO

Ode to Keno

Goodbye ol' friend, your howl carries on the wind the malamute song of freedom and peace, your eyes gently squinted as you drank up the wind in your face. Your haunt lays silent and the emptiness of your loss weighs heavy on this cold rainy morn, good luck ol' boy.

The energy babies will forget the old ways. Evil old time oil people! We shall live on french fry juice! Jerks. This machine has been running since the early 30's. An oilier (a man with an oil can) must be around to fill the small wells that lubricate the many hand made moving gears and parts. The new snotty kids all need a good spanking.

Oh yes, they drag these babies! And the gentlemen that do so are truly corn feed on the farm. I did not have the required can of Skoal so I could approach these guys but I did spit well enough to take a peek at the engine... wow! 17 HPS OF PURE FURY!!!
